The main pop groups currently recording for Lime Green Yellow:

An arch, pioneering frontier-pop group in the tradition of English Artrock

"Accidents waiting to happen" ep, LGY 007 CD, 1998
The debut ep, blending the spirit of Modernist punk with the ascetics of ambient.
Six songs about relationships, confusion and modification; electronic and human
elements combine to create a modern wall-of-sound pop music.

"This is the long lie in" ep, LGY 008 CD, 1998
A second ep with excitable guitars and playful electronica with luxury synthetic
tones and hypertones. This is isolated, darkly romantic and as fizzy as that illuminated
pop bottle that pours its heart out night after night by the elevated section of
the M4.

"Fly to work" album, LGY 011 CD, 2000
At last, the album is completed and due to be released soon! Sending electronica
to rattle in a pure pop shell, this is inclusive and optimistic, asymmetrically
designed pop music. 16 songs for those who know the direction of travel at the beginning
of the 21st century.

Expansive and panoramic ambient improvisation group
![en route]()
"En route as it is in action" album, LGY 004 CD, 1996
This is dark and human, brutal music of contrasts, soundtracking the inward / outward
journey. An optimistic isolationist album, performed on a variety of electric and
electronic machines, some specially built for the task, some corralled for a humming
role, even some actual musical instruments...

"False colour pictures" album, LGY 012CD, 2000
More ambient depths and wavetips; a new album nearing completion and due to be released
soon. Further twisting mutations of music, more specially found or made sound objects,
and an exercise in extreme editing will end in a darkly yearning and beautiful soundtrack
to your thoughts and hopes.

Deviant electronic music from Curtains bassist

"Brawling in an art hangout" album, LGY 005 CD, 1997
Diseased electropop meets dub techno; disturbed analogue noises are explicitly linked
to abstract painting. Rhythms of the modern age - mechanical, electronic - are fused
to human elements - anguish, melancholy, wit, joy - a melodramatic swoop through
the emotions.

![Bossloper]()
"Atlantech bossloper" album, LGY 009 CD, 1999
Part two of the series, seizing darker ambient and techno as it has evolved through
Detroit, Sheffield, Berlin, etc. and slinging it through the filters of artpop,
queasy microtonality and typical English romanticism.

Experimentally ordered chaos from the berserker animator

"Experimental clothing stories" album, LGY 006 CD, 1997
A journey in linear non-reality; wide expanses of sub-bass support dark foreboding
forces meeting cartoon drum n bass. Electromesh beats, mutating anti-guitar noise
soundtrack, ambient clusters and lush textures of organic grooves.

"Perfect Imperfect" album, LGY 014 CD, 2000
Confident, complex, relentless, abrasive, beguiling, blind panic music belonging
to the 21st century. Oblique voices / cut up beatz / shining ethereal guitars /
mega low frequencies. Blade Runner meets Hong Kong Phooey.

Ambient noise making group with secretive sound creation methods...
"Our man in high places" album, LGY 010 CD, 2000
Snapshots of ambient sound inspired by a Victorian Himalayan trekking diary, arranged
into a series of music pieces. The result is a vivid imagined evocation of soaring
peaks, oxygen-thin high passes, tense, rickety metal footbridges and vast plains.

Electro and art experiment pop duo
"- ing round the globe" ep (unreleased)
A collection of feverish, nervily eccentric songs from the reclusive Somerset pair,
acting out their favourite distressed gentlefolk celebrity fantasies. Somewhere
halfway between Guided by Voices and Glen Baxter.

Music provided for films, other than above bands' output
"Cooking pigeons" soundtrack, director: James Callow, 1998
Heavily static atmosphere of electric sound and noisewaves and reinterpreted "cover"
versions
"Eden approximately" soundtrack, director: James Callow, 2000
Another collaboration between LGY and Callow. Again high on atmosphere, this time
a Somerset levels version of hillbilly / delta blues. Scratchy guitars and pumped,
drunken tea-chest bass.
